The corporate world shares many similarities with dragon boat racing.  In both settings, the secret to success involves collaboration, communication, commitment and co-ordination. Without a doubt, the same characteristics that affect your company’s bottom line will also drive you to the finish line.  

Dragon Boating is a fun team-building activity and a unique way to host clients,  Participating in a dragon boat event can benefit your employees and clients in numerous ways.  Below are some examples:

Our qualified staff will provide all the coaching, training and equipment your group needs for an exciting team experience.  A typical program starts with an orientation and dry land coaching in Jacksonvillle's Dragon Boat Training Center, then into the boats for an on-water session.  Racing against other teams from your organization are exhilarating activities that gives people a taste of why dragon boat racing is the fastest growing water sport in the world.

 

These sessions are not only for corpoate teams!  If you are part of an association, family retreat, etc., feel free to contact us!   

 

Though our facilities can accommodate most training, we also hold off-site events. 

 

Pricing: 

Basic Team Building Session ($300 - 1.5 to 2.5 hours)  *Minimum of 10 participants

10 to 21 paddlers will receive land-based and on-water instruction and one paddling session with discussions about team work. Bottled water will be provided. Timeframe is approximately 1.5 to 2 hrs. duration. This event provides one dragon boat and instructor. If you have enough participants to fill two boats effectively (22 to 42 Paddlers), doubling up can include head to head competition to further add to the excitement and fun. A 10% discount is offered for having two groups, for a cost of $540 for the event total.

 

Standard Team Building Session ($500 - 4 hours)  *Minimum of 10 participants

10 to 21 paddlers receive land-based and on-water instruction, two paddling sessions, and a short classroom discussion about paddling and teamwork. Bottled water will provided. Timeframe is approximately 3 to 4 hrs. in duration. If you have enough participants to fill two boats effectively (22 to 42 Paddlers), doubling up can include head to head competition to further add to the excitement and fun. A 10% discount is offered for having two groups, for a cost of $900 for the event total.

 

Full Day Team Building Session

Costs can be discussed on a case-by-case basis dependent on the organization’s needs.Costs include instruction in safety, dragon boat paddling technique, coaching from a certified coach, an experienced steers person, facilities, paddles, personal flotation devices, dragon boats, event insurance, and simple refreshments (energy bars and water).
